Compound is our answer to that, and it's now live in Greater Seattle.
What Compound is
Compound helps a family get one property where more than one generation can live together and apart at the same time. Separate entrances. A second kitchen. A wing that closes off, or a second home at the back of the lot. Shared space where you want it, private space where you need it.

Why we run the whole thing
The hard part starts after closing. The agent has been paid, the lender has been paid, and you're standing in a house that doesn't fit yet.
Compound covers the whole way through: aligning on who lives where and who pays what before anyone writes an offer, qualifying across generations of income and equity, securing a property that can hold everyone, putting shares in writing before closing, making the home fit, and settling up front what happens when someone wants out. That's the decade of work we've done for families buying together, now extended to the home itself.
A CoBuy-certified Home Builder is a licensed local builder we've vetted, with a track record of building homes that work for more than one generation: separate entrances, second kitchens, and permitted second units. In Greater Seattle that's Hughes Building Company: forty years of homebuilding experience, three decades of it in the Pacific Northwest.
We work with a few families at a time, in the order they come in. A founder reads every one, and answers either way, usually within two business days.
