Document Vault

The Document Vault is the document management feature within Co-ownerOS™. It provides multiplayer storage, authentication, version control, and blockchain-anchored verification for the records that co-ownership requires — from executed agreements to financial receipts to property-related documents.

What It Does

The Document Vault centralizes all co-ownership documentation in one secure location accessible to all group members. Files are authenticated with digital signatures verifying who added each document. Version history tracks changes over time, and critical documents — including the Co-ownership Agreement and Memorandum of Agreement — receive blockchain-anchored verification through cryptographic hashing and on-chain anchoring, providing tamper-resistant proof of authenticity and execution.

Why It Exists

Co-ownership generates documentation that multiple parties need to access, trust, and maintain over years. Without centralized management, co-buyers and co-owners rely on scattered files, email attachments, and individual storage — producing version confusion, accessibility issues, and disputes about what was agreed to and when. The Document Vault solves this by providing a single source of truth that all group members share.
